I still use my old tail occasionally. It doesnโt match my fursona but sometimes when Iโm in my pup gear Iโll swap it out. One of my tails is curly, one of them has spikes on it, and one is just the one that I use with my suit.

Nope. I recall back when I was underage,just how shitty it made me feel to be excluded from the adults only parties. So I resolved, back before furry cons ever existed, that I would never run adults only parties. So my parties are not serving booze, allowing drugs, or other adult only activities.

If folks meet at my party, and choose to go back to the privacy of their hotel room for adult activities, that is on them. Consenting adults and all that.

2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor I can get the switch for it. I work for NAPA Auto Parts. I know a couple of repair shops who can work on it. The cost of the labor is what I need help with.
I'm in South Jersey, so I might be a bit far from you. So I'll stick to someone local, but thanks anyway. I can reach the switch, but that's about it. If I had the right tools I can probably do it, but I don't trust myself around certain systems.
Yeah I'm a Masshole so its a long drive. You don't need to send out a go fund me to replace a brake switch like that. its easy. go get some simple 1/4" drive tools at harbor freight and you can replace the switch without needing a donation of 200$
Well it's more or less the con rate rooms. The hotel evidently still has non block rooms. So probably can't do the trick or treating then since it's potential to be mixed up with regular travlers ๐
Hotel has a limited number of rollaway beds. Ask when you check in, or put it on the reservation. The rooms also come with some sort of comfy chair and ottoman. Those can be used as a makeshift bed.
Depending how comfy you all are with sleeping proximity, but 3 can fit on the bed with sleeping bags and one on the cot/air mattress by the window. All luggage and such can go by the door/in the closet/under the table/on the chair just for the over night
Sleeping bags and air mattresses would be your best option

Update on the overflow hotel! The Stamford has informed us that we have reached the max in our courtesy block and no more rooms are available at the con rate. If you are still interested in booking a room at The Stamford to utilize the courtesy shuttle you still can do so, just not at the con rate
I would like to bring to your attention that I have sent several emails to the con via the contact form and haven't heard back. One of these are almost a year old.
Are there any any plans to reply to any of the support emails?
Last year I had a rather troubling experience where the hotel double charged me and said to get a refund from the con. Then when I talked to the con (a person at the reg room) i was told that the con was being screwed over by the hotel and to have as many people charge back as I can.
I did finally get my money back by calling my credit card company.
Then this year I was trying to book a room. I don't use social media, so I was getting my information from the con website. They didn't put any of the hotel info (it still said rooms not yet available check back soon) on the website all the way till after the rooms were filled. So I never was able to book a room.

I have also reached out a few times on Twitter to let the con know I needed a reply. I also told a few different staff in this chat. One of them took initiative and did their best, but didn't have the resources necessary to resolve it from their position.
Already got my checklist ready, less than three weeks early.

Bolivian ram cichlid. The big one is the mama. There are about a dozen other babies too. He's just the most curious, the others mainly hide in the Staurogyne
They lasted a few weeks then started to wilt or whatever. Changed lights thinking I had the wrong UV light, Added a bubbler, added in some chemical ferts, but they didnt want to grow. Even moved the tank in front of the window to let natural sunlight into the tank but the plants didnt like me
Where I am we have pickerel (they chompychompy) and large/small mouth bass.

I too never got notice of when the room block would open and by the time I found out it was about the overflow hotel. This and other personal (non-furry) forced me to not even try to even commute to the con (27 miles one way). The same thing happened to me with ANE but at least I have a chance at their overflows. Both cons need to do a better job at this (like Anthrocon). ๐
I've found a few cons make it really frustrating to get a hotel, even when it's a con that isn't specifically a challenge to get a room for.
Anthrocon at least updated their website regularly and keeps people in the loop.
One major issue I've seen a few specific cons make is using social media as their primary notification method. Many people don't check it every day. And I'd say the most common way of finding hotel information is visiting the convention website.
The fact that the hotel was entirely sold out before the con even considered putting the info on the website is a bit negligent and inconsiderate
There were similar issues last year with booking. Many people take a day off of work to get a room. I was planning to do the same. But the con refused to give notice on when rooms would open. They had a notification out saying there would be an "announcement" regarding hotel booking.
I made it known to the con that it would be good to let people know if there would be booking openings that day, or it was just an announcement.
I took the day off. Only for them to announce not rooms being available, but when they'd make the date announcement. Which wasted a PTO day for me.
You can get a good taste of how it was by going to smaller cons! Find a newer con with only a few hundred attendees. It's a really cool experience if you go with friends!
I am only a singer ,but of course I get to miss the performance panel on Sunday so thats life... im still super bummed about it... Only get to be there Friday and Saturday this yr..

I can understand this. I even struggle with this today more than anything. I find inspiration in other artworks or shows that I watch. Or just objects that I think look cool xD but all I can say is find inspiration from show or even like..simple things that make you happy. Its easier than it looks. And with every piece you start with yeah its gonna look bad no matter what. That's what happens with mine and thank god for erasers. XD but I know this feeling because I still have it sometimes ~.~ probably a little too much.
